The Stewards considered the unruly behaviour of Anythingtoday (IRE), which was very reluctant to enter the parade ring and leave the chute onto the course.
As the gelding had also been unruly at Windsor on 23 May 2022, George Boughey’s representative was informed that any future similar behaviour from Anythingtoday (IRE) may result in the gelding being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Danville (GB), unplaced, lost its right-hind shoe and Splendent (IRE), placed second, lost its left-fore shoe.
