Permission was given for Monaadhil (IRE) to go early to post.

Rounding the first bend, Lincoln Pride (IRE), placed sixth, cocked its jaw and hung badly right-handed carrying Mops Gem (GB), unplaced, very wide on the track but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, nor had it improved the placing of Lincoln Pride (IRE).

Inside 1½ furlongs out, Hello Power (IRE), placed second, edged slightly left-handed causing Dajarus (GB), unplaced, to be briefly eased but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Hello Power (IRE).

An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving the winner One Step Beyond (IRE), ridden by Rhiain Ingram, Hello Power (IRE), placed second, ridden by Oisin Orr and Trusty Scout (IRE), placed third, ridden by Cam Hardie.

Ingram was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as she had initially allowed her mount to drift left-handed without correction without being clear of Hello Power (IRE), which was carried off its intended line onto Trusty Scout (IRE), forcing Hardie to briefly check his mount and switch right-handed to continue his run, before One Step Beyond (IRE) carried on drifting left-handed without timely correction, whilst still not clear of Hello Power (IRE) forcing Orr to significantly check is mount after running out of racing room on the rail.

Following the race, Daniel Muscutt reported that The Charmer (IRE), placed fourth, hung right-handed; Daniel Tudhope reported that Lincoln Pride (IRE), placed sixth, hung right-handed off the first bend; James Sullivan reported that Monaadhil (IRE), unplaced, ran flat.

Jason Hart reported that Burtonwood (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
