Permission was given for Jack's Point (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The raceday privilege request, in relation to JACK’S POINT, trained by John Butler, was late being submitted.
As this was his fourth breach within the previous 12 months, Butler was fined £80.
The winner, Ideal Guest (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ascot on 8 September 2023 where the gelding finished eleventh of eleven, beaten by 40 lengths.
George Margarson’s explanation that Ideal Guest (FR) benefited from the return to Yarmouth where the gelding had previously won before and the drop in class, was noted.
Ideal Guest (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, Harry Davies reported that Juryman (GB), unplaced, was slowly away and Billy Loughnane reported that Melody Cher (GB), unplaced, was reluctant to race.
