The Veterinary Officer reported that Aleatoric (IRE), trained by Martin Smith, had been vaccinated for Equine Influenza within 7 days and therefore could not run.
After being interviewed, Smith was fined £290.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Arthur Pendragon (IRE), placed fourth, hung right-handed in the final two furlongs.
Approximately two furlongs out, Arthur Pendragon (IRE), placed fourth, shifted right-handed taking Landa Beach (IRE), unplaced, off it’s intended line, which in turn interfered with Tidal Point (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
