Permission was given for Castle Daragh (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider whether Miss Ellie Callwood, the rider of Well P (IRE), placed third, had continued to ride a finish in the race when her horse appeared to have gone lame on the run in.
As a 7lb claiming amateur, Miss Callwood was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry, but declined.
The rider and the Veterinary Officer were interviewed, and recordings of the incident were viewed.
The Veterinary Officer stated that a post-race examination of the gelding found it to be lame on its right-fore.
The rider was suspended for 10 days.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Jay Bee Whiskey (IRE), unplaced, lost its left- fore shoe and that Well P (IRE), placed third, was found to be lame on its right-fore.
