Permission as given for Concetto (FR) to go to post early.
The raceday privilege request in relation to Concetto (FR) trained by Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero was late being submitted.
Greenall & Guerriero were warned as to their responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm the day before racing.
Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
The winner If Not For Dylan (IRE) appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Carlisle on 26 March 2023, where the gelding finished seventh of nine beaten 13½ lengths.
Andrew Hamilton explained that the gelding may have appreciated the easy lead on this occasion and the step up in trip from 2 miles and 4 furlongs to 3 miles and 6½ furlongs.
His explanation was noted.
Following the race, Jamie Hamilton reported that Destiny Is All (IRE), which was pulled up, made a bad mistake at the eighth fence and was never travelling thereafter.
Jack Quinlan reported that he pulled up Nearly Perfect (GB), as he felt something was amiss.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
