Oisin McSweeney, the rider of Newgate Angel (GB), placed seventh, had appeared to use his whip contrary to the Conditions of the race.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, McSweeney was accompanied in the enquiry by a BHA Jockey Coach.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, McSweeney was suspended for 7 days, on dates to be notified to him by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, for improper riding.
