Cleary on the approach to the straight. Evidence was heard from R.P. Cleary and also from S.B. Kelly rider of Dancingatmidnight. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that the fall of Lady Society (GB) was caused accidentally by clipping heels and took no further action. D.P. McDonogh, rider of Daredevil Day, trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly in running. The Stewards fined Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer of Osuileabhain (GB), €200 for failing to lodge the passport in time for this horse, which resulted in the horse being withdrawn from this race. The passport was required under Rule 90(d).
