The Stewards enquired into an incident approxmately three furlongs out involving Michael Hennery (GB), ridden by M.A. Gallagher, unplaced, Singleasapringle, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced and Thaleeq (GB), ridden by O.J. Orr, placed third, where it appeared that Michael Hennery ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame and they therefore took no further action
