Following the race, Billy Loughnane reported that Transfer Affection (IRE), unplaced, stopped quickly and Paddy Bradley reported that Epsom Faithfull (GB), unplaced, ran flat.
The representative of Roger Varian reported that Swiss Star (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the Good, Good to Firm in places ground on this occasion, which in their opinion was riding on the easier side.

THE WATCH RACING TV FREE FOR 31 DAYS HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 1 furlong out, involving STRONG IMPACT (IRE), placed second, ridden by David Egan and TUDOR (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by John Egan.
Luke Morris the rider of the winner, BORN RULER, was also present in the enquiry but having heard the evidence of the riders, it was found he was not involved in the interference.
David Egan was suspended for 2 for careless riding as he moved left-handed on his mount, to relieve pressure away from FINEST LEADER (IRE) on the rail, David Egan was then slow to correct his mount, which resulted in TUDOR (IRE) being taken off its intended line.
Following the race, David Egan reported that STRONG IMPACT (IRE), placed second, ran green.
