An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately ½ a furlong out when The Dunkirk Lads (GB), placed second, ridden by David Allan, interfered with Way To Win (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Stefano Cherchi.
Allan was cautioned for careless riding as he had permitted his horse to drift right-handed without sufficient correction, causing Way To Win (IRE) to be briefly hampered.
The performance of Truely Aclaimed (GB), which started second-favourite and finished fifth, was considered.
The representative of John Quinn explained that the filly had been unsuited by being unable to obtain a prominent early position from a wide draw of stall 6 on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of TRULY ACLAIMED, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Stefano Cherchi reported that Way To Win (IRE), placed fourth, ran too free.
