The Michael Halford trained Sonapour, under Shane Foley, got off the mark at the fifth attempt when taking the Clonard Maiden at Wexford this evening. Fri 22nd Jul
that was great., before adding .they (the hurdles) are there to be jumped. I'm not sure where he'll run next - he might go to Galway for a winners' of one but he needs good ground. That's my second winner for Chris Jones . Lapse of Reason was my first for him at Fairyhouse last year.

Sonapour stays well, is tough and is very straightforward and genuine. Once Shane got stuck into him, he was always happy he was going to get there - we'll probably go for a handicap next.
