There is just one non runner to report thus far for the opening day of the Galway Festival.
Headford Flyer missess the feature, the Carlton Hotel Galway City Amateur Handicap, due to the change in going.
First reserve Harangue gets a run with Mikey Fogarty taking the mount.
Elsewhere on the card Sonapour (best priced at 11/2) has attracted plenty of support for the opening novice hurdle while the Dermot Weld trained Teach Nua (5/1) is the clear favourite for the 20 runner hotelmeyrick.ie & theghotel.ie Handicap Hurdle.
Weld is also responsible for three other favourites on day one, Fastidious (4/1) in the Claytonhotelgalway.ie Handicap, Encrypted Message (3/1) in the Galway Oyster Hotel Handicap and 11/10 shot Silver Concorde in the concluding bumper.
The ground at Galway is currently Good.
