After race at Galway Mon, 29th Jul, 2024 (1st)
It's been the plan for a while, we've had an eye on Galway for a while. It's great when it works out. It's my first festival winner, I haven't had too many runners at this meeting, so it's great. It's great for James to ride a winner here as well as he's been coming here since he was a child.
Kevin Michael Smith
After race at Downpatrick Fri, 26th Apr, 2024 (1st)
Better ground and we waited for the ground. It worked out well and great for James - he is back a little while from England, so it is great for him to get back with a winner. He's back with Matthew (Smith) and is staying in Ireland for the minute. Onwards and upwards with him the way he has handled the ground. I had nothing planned beyond today.
Kevin Michael Smith
After race at Galway Mon, 6th Sep, 2021 (1st)
My heart was in my mouth for a second coming to the second last. When he got out and got room he did it well. I think he'll get further. That was great and I'm delighted for my father (owner Kevin senior). He won on the Flat here as well when (brother) Matthew had him. We'll wait and see what the handicapper does now before making a plan, we have a couple of things in mind.
Kevin Michael Smith
After race at Tipperary Tue, 15th Sep, 2020 (1st)
He stays well, is pretty uncomplicated and Colin said he was happy enough to take a lead as they were going hard enough. The cheekpieces worked well on him the last day and we left them on him.
Matthew J Smith
