That's the horse that Wesley got hurt on, so it is great to see her back. It is all behind him now, but it is just nice to come back and win on her and prove that it is all over. Hopefully, it will be onwards and upwards for him. The filly was moved from our yard and came back this year and Wesley looks after her every day. It was just one of those things on the day. Now that she has got her head back in front, you never know. I'm delighted for Wesley. We have been hitting the goalpost a little bit lately and it is nice to see him get back in the winners enclosure. He is based with me full-time again, he came back about two months ago. He's a good young fella and he does his best. He's probably not just the finished article yet, but we will knock the corners off him! I think he has the makings of being a jockey. I thought the last day in Gowran we rode her all wrong and it turned into a little bit of a sprint. She's a big strong filly and she has a big long stride on her. She wouldn't have an exceptional turn of speed on her. She has a high travelling speed and that's why we were intent on making it a good strong gallop.

She was sick earlier in the year after her first run. I thought she worked very well the other day and I was confident enough coming today that we were going to have a big run,. We'll probably go to the fillies Listed race in Galway. I can see the handicapper giving her a few pounds for that. She handles most ground, bar heavy. She seems to be better this year, she's more settled in herself. They gave her a handy lead and it was nice to get it.

She’s improving all the time and had a hard season last year. Starting off today I thought she might need the run. She’s a tough lady and seems to be getting stronger. She had a bit of trouble going into the stalls in the past but Will Hayes has done a good job with her. We’ve learned that she runs better without the whip and Wesley gave her a fine ride.

I thought she won easily the last day and the owners were anxious enough to come to Leopardstown, they wanted to get a mark as they are breeders. I'd like to go to Gowran Park with her on Saturday week for a fillies’ race but it depends what the handicapper does. It'll be either that or Galway, we'll discuss it with the owners when things cool down a bit.

We had her entered earlier in the year but there was a problem with her vaccinations so we said we’d keep her for here. She should have run a month ago. I thought she was an ideal one to jump and go and I’m delighted for the owner Susan Archdeacon who is a lovely person. She’s only rated 56 so hopefully the handicapper won’t go mad. She’s a big filly but has a lot of quirks attached to her. I have to get Will Hayes to put her in the stalls. She has ability and there are more races to be won if we can keep her in the same frame of mind.

She works like an 80 or 90 horse at home and we were a bit disappointed with her the last few times.
