After race at Roscommon Tue, 4th Aug, 2015 (1st)
He had a good run in Galway but was probably a bit long in front and wandered up the hill. He lost nothing in defeat,. I met his owners Des and Sean (Conroy) on Sunday evening and they were happy enough to let me do what I thought was best. It's good for them. They are great people. He had been acting the lug for a while but just came into himself. Tony McCoy told me a few years ago when the horses are well run them and it was good advice from the champ himself. He'll get a rest now though and we'll look for something in Listowel. I'd love to have a go at the Kerry National but I don't think he'd get into it. The prize-money has increased so much it's hard to get into the good races now.
Paul John Gilligan
After race at Kilbeggan Mon, 22nd Jun, 2015 (1st)
He's very unpredictable but he's alright when he puts it in. He has a mind of his own but it is good for Sean (Conroy, owner). The Galway Blazers might be the only race for him at Galway.
Paul John Gilligan
After race at Sligo Sun, 15th Jul, 2012 (1st)
That's the first time he has got half decent ground and the better ground improved him. Like most of mine they all want good ground. He is entered in Killarney next week and he will run there if the weather picks up.
John Joseph Hanlon
