Coldstonesober availed of rival Gallant Tipp falling at the last to come home clear in the two and a half mile handicap chase at Tipperary.
Gallant Tipp picked up the lead after the third last and soon went on under Mark Walsh. Coldstonesober chased him after the second last and was almost on terms at the last, where 3/1 favourite Gallant Tipp got the landing gear wrong and fell.
Coldstonesober (11/2) took the honours by nine lengths from Harangue who came through for second at 7/1.
Handler Jimmy Finn said: "I'm not sure if he'd have won [if faller Gallant Tipp had stood up] but he's been a great horse to have been involved in and has been a star for us.
"He could go for the 2m4f handicap hurdle (Wednesday) and 2m1f (Sunday) at Galway next."
Coldstonesober was following up on a win in a handicap hurdle at Sligo a week ago.
