Early non-runners & market movers at Sligo
With the ground changing to soft at Sligo there have been a few early withdrawals from the seven race all flat card, while there has been significant money for some. Ok Annie has gone from 9/2 into 4/1 in the opener at 4:55 while Nine Bean Rows has also been niggled at, moving from 7/1 into 13/2. Blue Mimosa for Kevin Prendergast remains the 9/4 favourite for the six furlong contest.
In the Claimer at 5:25, the favourite Footprint has shortened in the market going from 4/1 into 7/2 for Pat Martin and Andrew Thornton.
In the 6:00 both Bonnie Acclamation and Balmont Flyer are now non-runners, while Missile Command for Jane Foley and Danny Benson has been installed the 5/2 favourite.
The likely favourite after his easy win at Tipperary last time out, Topadee has been taken out of the 6:30, with Gagnant and Lansdowne are now vying for favouritism both currently at 7/2.
In the feature race of the night at 7:00 Sam Bass has been taken out while Dawariya for John Oxx and Johnny Murtagh has been installed the 6/4 favourite, from Tobar Na Gaoise and Hisbaabaat next best, both at 7/2. Music On D Waters opened the 5/1 favourite for the Apprentice Handicap at 7:30, but she has now drifted out to 6/1, while El Toreros for Dermot Weld has gone the opposite way from 6/1 into 5/1 favourite. Leroy Parker and Indian Scout have also been niggled at with the former moving from 13/2 into 11/2 for Noel Meade with the latter going from 9/1 into 7/1 for John Murphy.
In the last race on the card at 8:00, Dame Shanakill is now out, while Narjawa has been installed the 2/1 favourite from Harangue next best at 5/2.
