I always thought he might be a soft ground horse, but we worked him on the grass last week and Ben was very impressed with him. He’s been gelded since his last run as well so maybe a bit of both. He’s a horse we always liked last year after maybe he won his maiden on soft ground because he’s so genuine. I’m delighted the way he’s done it today. Ben said he’s hit the line well and he might be a horse to go for the Britannia in Ascot.

After race at Naas Sat, 14th Oct, 2023 (1st)
He’d a good run the first day but he’s a lazy horse at home so its hard to know how he’s going. Niall McCullagh likes him and rode him work one morning and said ‘this lad goes well and handles soft ground well’. When we worked him the other morning I said has he improved at all but ours usually improve from their first run to their second run. Ben said he’s very professional, very genuine and should get a mile and a quarter next year. He’s by Night Of Thunder, a good sire, and we’ll put him away and hope he’s a stakes horse next year.
