After race at Killarney Sun, 1st Oct, 2023 (1st)  that was brilliant. He got an awful fall when he was going to win over fences at Leopardstown (in March 2022) and completely lost his confidence. He didn't jump or do anything right for a long time so we ended up giving up running over fences. He got his confidence back over hurdles and in fairness to Robbie (Dunne, previous jockey) he said to try him again over fences. I was nervous he ran well and jumped great at Listowel last week. Keith (Donoghue) said he felt like a different horse today, his confidence was up and he was coming down in grade from a 0-140 to a 0-116. he deserved to get his day, it has been a while since his last win and it is great to have the Monroes (owners) who have been a great part of us. When John (Monroe, former trainer) passed away a number of years ago the horses came to us as the lads were busy with businesses and their pub. We've had great success and I'm delighted for them. After race at Down Royal Tue, 25th Jan, 2022 (1st)  he (Conor Orr) said he learned a lot from the last day in Fairyhouse. I was very happy with him at home even though it was a quick turnaround. He was fresh so we said we had to give it a go. It is hard to find those rated novice chases and you are nearly pushed into it so we had to give it a go. It is very hard to go into those normal beginners' chases taking on those 140-rated horses. Conor said he was very quick over his fences. He is a horse that is always ridden patiently and he should improve. There are a couple of those rated novice chases coming up that will suit him into March. I'm delighted, that is four he is after winning and he has a good attitude. He was late to go chasing but he had been very consistent over hurdles so we were slow about going chasing. After race at Wexford Wed, 10th Mar, 2021 (1st)  I'm delighted with him and he is a classy horse. He has stepped up from his run in Naas. He is a horse that had a little bit of a winter break and it suited him great. The main worry today was the ground and that's why he had a winter break. We have the spring and summer now to look forward to with him. You'd never know, he could progress even more in the spring time and somewhere along the line he will jump a fence because he loves jumping. It was a lovely pot to win today and he is a lovely horse to have. The smaller field suited him, he likes to be ridden patiently and to be passing horses. Conor thought he was going to win everywhere. He rode him for the first time the last day and he got to know him and it made all the difference today. He gave him a lovely ride and he said he is just a horse who is better following horses and he relaxes a bit more in his race then. It took a while to figure him out, but we got the hang of him and he has been a very consistent horse the last year. The plan was to jump a fence with him, but when he ran so well the other day we thought there might be another good pot in him over hurdles. He seems to have got better with time. Ross O'Sullivan

After race at Tipperary Tue, 20th Oct, 2020 (1st)  Simon rode this horse the last day and gave him a lovely ride and the lads were delighted to keep him on him with the 5lbs claim. That's his first winner for me. he had winter form on soft to heavy so when the rain came it didn't really affect us, but might have affected some of the summer horses. His last run left him spot on; he ran well in 0-130 hurdle then and he was dropping back to a 0-116 today but the topweight was rated just 110 so it was a drop in class. He is a fine big horse and will jump a fence as well. It is great for the Monroes (owners) as well as they are great supporters of the yard. Ross O'Sullivan
