- Stewards Report
The Stewards held an enquiry into whether Gabriele Malune, the rider of DONCASTER ROSA, placed fourth, had appeared to ride the final furlong under tender handling. The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the race, the Stewards noted Malune''s explanation that he had continued to ride to the line, finishing a nose behind AUTUMN TRAIL, placed third, albeit not as aggressively due to the filly becoming unbalanced on just her third run.
Leaving the stalls, FUMBLEINTHEFOREST, unplaced, jumped right-handed, causing interference to DONCASTER ROSA, placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Andrew Mullen reported that FUMBLEINTHEFOREST, unplaced, hung both ways. Barry McHugh reported that the winner ENTRANCING ran green and Trevor Whelan reported that COURTNEY ROSE, which finished last of the eight runners, also ran green.
