Permission was given for Glamorous Force (GB) to be mounted in the chute, Shesadabber (GB) to go early to post and for CHRIS’S ROSE to wear a red hood to post.
Inside the final furlong, Fossos (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed at the same time as the winner, Glamorous Force (GB), shifted right having been over-corrected, causing the two to bump, resulting in Fossos (IRE) becoming momentarily unbalanced and in turn giving a slight bump to Willingly (GB), placed fifth, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that there was no riding offence involved, and it had not improved the placing of any runner.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Fossos (IRE) received a bump inside the final furlong and became unbalanced.
David Probert reported that Black Box (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed and Gina Mangan reported that CHRIS’S ROSE, unplaced, was never travelling and the Veterinary Officer reported that CHRIS’S ROSE bled from the nose.
