Permission was given for Magical Effect (IRE) and Penwortham (IRE) to go to post early.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when the winner Tommy G (GB), ridden by Corey Madden, interfered with Bertog (GB), placed seventh, and Penwortham (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Jason Hart.
Madden was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left without sufficient correction causing interference to Bertog (GB) and Penwortham (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference ½ a furlong out when Kupa River (IRE), placed third, ridden by Clifford Lee, and the winner Tommy G (GB), ridden by Corey Madden, caused interference to Glengarry (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Shane Gray, and Highlight Reel (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Lewis Edmunds.
The interference was found to be accidental as Kupa River (IRE) had edged slightly right despite the riders best efforts, at the same time as Tommy G (GB) had drifted slightly left before being quickly corrected, thereby causing interference to Glengarry (GB) and Highlight Reel (IRE).
