Sizing Europe impresses at Punchestown
He was good there, for his 1st time over fences at Punchestown I thought he was very good. Denis said he was electric to jump and I suppose he looked it. I was very worried about running him over 2 ¿ miles and the heavy ground.

He was very good, when we first got him we were blaming the heavy ground for his runs but we probably should have given a bit longer off when he came from France. He's a nice progressive sort and I think he's a better horse on better ground and the better pace would suit him more. We just have to make up our minds now as to what to do so I will speak to the owner and decide. He's a very nice horse.
That was a shock, she's only a small little mare and we thought she wanted hard ground. I told Eddie to hold her up and just ride her to get home and look respectable and she certainly looked respectable there. We hadn't a bob on her.
