The Noel Meade trained An Innocent Man broke his maiden status over hurdles on the third time of asking when landing The K.S.P.C.A Maiden Hurdle under Paul Carberry in the colours of JP McManus.

Carberry raced the 1/2 shot in behind the leaders, improved to challenge approaching straight, led before last and kept on well to win by a comfortable 4 lengths.

Winning trainer Noel Meade was absent.
