The Starter reported West End Charmer (IRE) was the subject of a third criteria failure.

Mark Johnston was informed that the colt could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.

As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that West End Charmer (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the colt would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.

Approximately 2 furlongs out, David Egan, the rider of Smoki Smoka (IRE), unplaced, struck Just Hubert (IRE), placed fourth, once over the nose with the whip but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was considered to be accidental.

An enquiry was held to consider interference on the home bend, when Divine Gift (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Aled Beech interfered with Smoki Smoka (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Egan.

The interference was found to be accidental as Richard Kingscote, the rider of Katiesheidinlisa (GB), unplaced, had edged left when weakening at the same time as Beech had committed to a legitimate gap, causing him to be moved left and in turn causing Egan to clip heels.

Being a 7lb claimer, Beech was offered accompaniment in the enquiry, but declined.

Following the race, Aled Beech reported that Divine Gift (IRE), placed sixth, was never travelling.

Richard Kingscote reported that Katiesheidinlisa (GB), unplaced, ran flat; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination, during routine testing of the filly, failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Sean Davies reported that Gabrial The One (IRE), placed fifth, hung left under pressure.
