Permission was given for Princes Des Sables (GB) and Last Surprise (IRE) to go early to post.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference just inside 1½ furlongs out involving Mountain Brave (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Franny Norton, PRINCESS DES SABLES, placed fourth, ridden by Rossa Ryan, Gale Force Maya (GB), placed second, ridden by Callum Rodriguez and Zim Baby (GB), placed third, ridden by Theodore Ladd.

After taking into account where the incident occurred, the material extent of the interference suffered and the official margin of ½ a length between the second and third placegetters, the Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Gale Force Maya (GB)’s placing and ordered the placings to remain unaltered.

Rodriguez was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had angled his mount right-handed around the heels of the leader Auchterarder (IRE) when insufficiently clear of Mountain Brave (GB), tightening that runner for room onto Zim Baby (GB) causing that filly to be checked in its run and in turn bump the hindquarters of Princes Des Sables (GB).

Inside the final furlong, the winner, Last Surprise (IRE) hung quickly left-handed intimidating Gale Force Maya (GB), placed second, onto Auchterarder (IRE), placed fifth, causing its rider Jason Hart to take a precautionary check on the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Last Surprise (IRE).
