Permission was given for Tundra (GER) to wear a red hood to the start and Mrs Meader (GB) to be mounted in the chute.
Gina Mangan, the rider of Tundra (GER), placed second, was suspended for 2 days for using her whip above the permitted level from 2 furlongs out.
At the 2 furlong marker, Castle Quarter (IRE), placed third, shifted marginally right-handed onto Tundra (GER), placed second, before being quickly corrected by its rider, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Anniemation (IRE), placed fourth, ran too freely and Laura Pearson reported that Chiavari (IRE), placed eighth, clipped heels on the home bend.
