The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Who Let De Dogsout, trained by Robert Tyner, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Who Let De Dogsout, ridden by R.M. Moran, and trained by Robert Tyner. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. In his evidence the rider stated that his instructions were to settle his mount in mid division, get her jumping and to do the best he could. He stated that in running his mount settled and jumped well but was out paced after jumping the fourth last hurdle,before staying on one paced past tired horses. He felt that he had achieved his best possible placing. He further added that in his opinion, his mount may benefit from a longer trip. In his evidence the trainer stated that this filly was as fit as he could have her for today's race but was a moderate type with average Point to Point form, he added that she was running over hurdles for the first time and he would expect her to benefit from today's experience. He confirmed the instructions given by him and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. The Stewards also received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer who stated that Who Let De Dogsout was found to be post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Itsonthelist, at the request of trainer, V. T. O'Brien, and reported the animal to have soft swelling on the left fore post race.
