Permission was given for Just A Tad (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Zimmer (IRE) which had refused to race.
Seamus Mullins was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the gelding had also been unruly at Kempton Park on 8 August 2022.
Mullins was informed that any future similar behaviour from Zimmer (IRE) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Zimmer (IRE) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
The winner, Borntobealeader (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newbury on 7 July 2022 where it finished seventh of eight, beaten 14 lengths.
Amanda Perrett’s representative’s explanation that Borntobealeader (IRE) had improved for being gelded since its previous run, was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Miss Metropolitan (GB), placed fourth, was never travelling.
