The Stewards interviewed I.J. Power, rider of Red Ball Of Fire, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that I.J. Power was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 7 racedays

The Stewards interviewed Kieran Callaghan, rider of Frazel Express, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip above the recommended guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Kieran Callaghan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards mares only that are EBF eligible (116 = 12st)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - Confined to Professional & Claiming Professional Riders who have not ridden more than 15 winners under any N.H. Rules from 2nd May, 2021 to 30th April, 2022 inclusive. (Qualified Riders are excluded from riding in this race)
