Permission was given for Second Collection (GB) to go early to post; for Alpine Girl (IRE) to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute; and for Tallulah Myla (IRE) to be mounted in the chute.

Tony Carroll, the trainer of Cinque Verde (GB), reported that the filly ran without a tongue strap because it had come adrift leaving the parade ring and could not be re-fitted.

Tony Carroll reported post-race that this did not appear to materially affect the filly's performance.

Shortly after the start, COLEY’S KOKO (IRE), unplaced, had to be checked after becoming short of room between, Cinque Verde (GB), placed second, which lugged slightly right-handed, and Amor de Mi Vida (FR), placed fourth, and Alpine Girl (IRE), placed third, which both edged slightly left-handed when racing tightly to its outside, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placings of Cinque Verde (GB), Amor de Mi Vida (FR) or Alpine Girl (IRE).

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving Alpine Girl (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ross Coakley and the winner, Tallulah Myla (IRE), ridden by Rob Hornby.

Hornby was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Coakley, causing Alpine Girl (IRE) to be slightly hampered.
