RACE (CLASS 5) (Part of the Racing Excellence Series) Permission was given for Bushtucker Park (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Neil Mulholland was cautioned as Well Paid Soldier (IRE) had arrived in the Parade Ring wearing an undeclared tongue strap which was removed before the mare went to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside 3 furlongs out involving Well Paid Soldier (IRE), placed third, ridden by Dylan Whelan and Committee Of One (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Scott.
The riders were accompanied by a BHA Jockey Coach and Kai Lenihan the rider of Pipers Cross (IRE), placed second, was interviewed but found not to be involved.
Whelan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to edge left-handed without sufficient correction, causing Committee Of One (GB) to become tight for room, forcing Scott to take a check.
