Permission was given for Song Of Success (GB), Sail On Silverbird (USA), Aviary (GB), and Original Thinker (GB) to wear red hoods to post, and for Spring Day (GB) to wear a red hood and be led to post.

Shortly after leaving the stalls, Original Thinker (GB), placed third, hung sharply left-handed hampering Sail On Silverbird (USA), placed fourth, which was taken across the running of Beau Roc (GB), unplaced, causing that runner to be checked, which in turn inconvenienced Spring Day (GB), placed fifth.

After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Original Thinker (GB).

An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final half-furlong involving Glory Sky, unplaced, ridden by Joe Leavy, and Aviary (GB), unplaced, ridden by Georgia Dobie.

Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Leavy was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.

Leavy was cautioned for careless riding for angling his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Aviary (GB) to be moved off its intended line.

Dylan Hogan, the rider of Sail On Silverbird (USA), placed fourth, was also present in the enquiry but found not to be involved in the interference.

Following the race, Aidan Keeley reported that Reve De Magritte (FR), unplaced, ran too free, and Georgia Dobie reported that Aviary (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.

The Veterinary Officer reported that Sail On Silverbird (USA), placed fourth, had been struck into on its right-hind leg.

An enquiry was held following a report from the Clerk of the Scales that there was an altercation involving riders Christian Howarth and Morgan Cole when weighing in following Race 4.

The Clerk of the Scales, Howarth, Cole, and both Franny Norton and the Raceday Assistant who also witnessed the incident, were interviewed.

After hearing their evidence, the matter was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
