An enquiry was held following a report from the Veterinary Officer that an employee of Paul Nicholls had acted in an abusive manner towards a Racecourse Employee who was assisting with the treatment of Soldier Of Love (GB), which had fallen at the final fence.
Paul Nicholls, the employee of Paul Nicholls, the Head Groundsman, the Veterinary Surgeon, the Veterinary Officer and the Racecourse Employee were interviewed.
Having heard their evidence, the representative of Nicholls was cautioned as to her future conduct.
Following the race, Jonathan Burke reported that Hurricane Arcadio (IRE), which was pulled up, jumped poorly and Tabitha Worsley reported that Vocaliser (IRE), placed fifth, made a bad mistake at the third-last fence.
