Having been examined by the doctor and Veterinary Surgeon at the start, both the rider and gelding were deemed fit to race.
Following the race, Jane Elliott reported that Harmony Lil (IRE), placed second, hung left-handed in the final 2 furlongs and Nicola Currie reported that Batchelor Boy (IRE), placed fifth, was denied a clear run approximately 1 furlong out.
