The Stewards received a report from the I.H.R.B Veterinary Officer, that Elusive Guy, trained by Jarlath P. Fahey, could not be positively identified owing to a failure to locate the microchip number. Having considered the report, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Elusive Guy under the provisions of Rule 90(iii). Furthermore, the Stewards referred the matter to the Register of the I.N.H.S Committee for further investigation in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(iv)

The Stewards received a report from G.B. Noonan, rider of North County Girl, who fell on the flat in this race. The rider reported that his mount stumbled independently for no apparent reason about a furlong from the finish, which resulted in his mount falling. Having considered the report, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
