ARCHIES LAD caused a 20/1 surprise here, his sound jumping helping him to prevail. MONEY POINT should get a notebook entry on what was his first venture out of maiden point company. He was gaining ground in the jumping stakes throughout but he didn't seem to get home. The Supreme Leader gelding can do better.

TOP TWIG carrying first time cheek-pieces found 7/2 from 9/2 but he couldn't justify that support and this may be as good as he is. This soft terrain wouldn't be his ideal though.
