The Stewards interviewed Miss A. Corrado, rider of Balinaboola Jer, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Miss. A. Corrado in breach of Regulation 10.3 (b) , the unnecessary hitting of a horse after it's chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone and (h), the use of the whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having considered Miss. Corrado's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned Miss
Corrado on this occasion and advised her to familiarise herself with the relevant regulations for the future
