that's our first track double - it's great to get it and is something you dream about - the horses are in form and long may it last. This filly had a good run here but things just went wrong for her over hurdles. She just got a fright the first day and lost confidence but she is back on track now and it is great for her owners. Donal and Brendan McLoughlin (Cluain Abhann Racing Syndicate) are good racing people and it's great to get the win for them.

The Stewards interviewed Mr P.A. King, rider of Isnt Dat Right, winner, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion Mr P.A. King was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency, and having taken his record into account, they cautioned him accordingly.
