It was a bad race but sure he's won so it's great,. He was a bit unlucky last year. He was drawn wide when fourth at Galway and kept getting drawn out wide. He also ran well in Killarney, when he was mugged late on, and when third at Leopardstown. He's getting on now so hopefully the handicapper doesn't give him too much weight for that.
John James Feane, trainer
The Stewards requested a report from John James Feane, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Six Silver Lane (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer reported that he couldn't account for the improvement in form other than the horse was badly drawn last time. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.
