FormscanBy Michael Graham - WARM IN GOREY made an eye-catching return to hurdling in Punchestown where he made up plenty of ground to stay on in second over a similar trip. Trainer Philip Rothwell and jockey Tiernan Power Roche are in a rich vein of form this month. Gordon Elliott's Boston Rover has faced difficult tasks in maiden hurdles, but is one that could have a say on handicap debut. Delias Pet has had a busy November with victories over flights in Fairyhouse and Gowran Park before a third place off her revised mark at Punchestown, so she has to come under consideration. Make Sunshine and Stowaway Lass are others eyeing prize money.

I fancied Ferdia a bit more but this is a smashing horse. I'd say he struggled throughout the race because his main aim is Listowel and this race should put him right. I'm not sure yet what race he'll go for next week. He'll definitely have taken a blow there. I worked him with The Dara Man (pulled up injured earlier on the card) and The Dara Man worked a lot better than him but he obviously improved from the work. A horse like him that won two bumpers, when he jumped the last upsides he was always going to quicken past those. He has a bit of class. Kevin gave him a peach of a ride and that's three rides, three winners he's had for me now in the last week.

We think an awful lot of him. He ran a cracking race in a bumper and got a bit jarred after it. We had to mind him and he had a smashing run over hurdles just over a fortnight ago. Everyone that rides him loves him. Kevin Brouder would have ridden him but he got injured. The owner passed away a few weeks ago so he must be doing big things for us. He could be a very nice horse in time. We’ll take baby steps and see what happens. Sean (O'Keeffe) said he saw it out well and he could go a bit further.

. He is quite a quirky horse and was off and on the bridle a bit but, I knew when I popped the question, there was plenty in the tank. He wasn't doing a whole pile in front, but landed running at the back of the last and hit the line well.

She travelled very well through the race, I was delighted with everything, but she just had a cut at the second last and was lucky to get away with that. Her confidence is up now and that's all she needs, she has the ability. Eighty one was a good mark for her, in fairness, but her form was poor, for no other reason than she lacked confidence. Her jumping wasn't up to scratch. The last day did her the world of good and she was better again today. Once she gets into a rhythm, she's a nice mare. This is a local track and we get a good kick out of it. She's well handicapped over fences. She ran in four point-to-points and had one run over fences but her jumping wasn't good enough. Maybe that will give her confidence. That was great and it's great to have the ground the way it is, she won't go on winter ground. She's entered in Thurles but we'll hardly run now.
