FormscanBy Donal Murphy - The first and second from 12-months ago are back again, with HEWICK adding further intrigue. Supplemented at a cost of €15,000, Shark Hanlon’s stable star has race fitness on his side. A solid third on his return to action over a fortnight ago, the King George winner could upset likely odds-on favourite Gerri Colombe. That Gordon Elliott-trained eight-year-old claimed this Grade 1 prize last year, beating the reopposing Envoi Allen (2022 winner) by just a neck. There is again likely to be little between the top class pair here. Grand National runner-up Delta Work and recent Gowran Grade 2 winner Visionarian both look up against it.
