Formscan - MANUELITO failed to win on the Flat last year, but has won two of only four starts over hurdles since joining David Pipe's yard. He looks capable of going close if translating his progressive form over timber back to this code. Ebony Maw arrives in good form having won over 1m5f at Ayr before going close again at Hamilton. He makes more appeal than Whatacracker, who scored over a shorter trip here last summer and remains 4lb higher.
