< The Fist Of God booked his ticket to Galway with a cosy success in the www.syncreon.com Hurdle.
With Barry Geraghty deputising for the injured Paul Carberry, the versatile four-year-old edged home by a length and a half from from Coliseum and looked to have plenty in hand after racing handily throughout.
Trainer Noel Meade said of the 5-4 favourite: "The Fist Of God will now be entered in the Galway Hurdle.
"He jumps so well over hurdles and although he races quite lazily on the Flat, he may run in a Derby Day handicap at The Curragh before going to Galway."
Carberry is nursing a fractured foot suffered at Clonmel on Friday night, and his pain will not have been eased as Meade took the following Irish Mirror Handicap Hurdle with Gay Sloane (7-1), this time with Davy Condon in the plate.
Meade said the winner would also have a Galway Hurdle entry, and added: "Maybe hurdling has sparked his interest again following a few disappointing Flat runs."
Niall Madden had originally come in to replace Carberry on Gay Sloane but Condon got the call after he was sent for X-rays himself following a fall in the opener.
That race saw Lady Hillingdon dig deep to take the Super Trooper 19th June Twilight Music Mares Maiden Hurdle for in-form trainer Paul Gilligan and jockey Andrew Lynch.
The mare looked booked for second jumping the last as Carpetcall took a narrow advantage but she rallied and got back up to take the spoils by three-quarters of a length as the 11-2 co-favourite of three.
Gilligan said: "Lady Hillingdon really deserved that win and hopefully the handicapper won't be too harsh on her.
"We'll freshen her up before running again and maybe head for Galway as her owners are local lads and keen to go there."
