The Henry De Bromhead trained Balzac Turgot made a winning hurdle debut at Limerick today as the Gigginstown House Stud owned gelding scored a three parts of a length success in the opening Coral.ie Best Price Guaranteed On All Irish Races Maiden Hurdle under Bryan Cooper.

Afterwards De Bromhead stated “the better ground was important to him as it suit him much more. He always worked like a nice horse and while he is gorgeous looking, he is big and only a frame yet.

“I'll with Eddie and Michael (O'Leary) and see what they want to do after today.”
