After race at Galway Tue, 8th Oct, 2019 (1st)
I was worried would he go on the ground as he had never ran on it before. Previously he dropped out when he got passed, but he jumped brilliantly today and it now looks like that ground is what he wants. We were talking about giving him a break but we'll keep going now and three miles is what he wants.

After race at Downpatrick Mon, 26th Aug, 2019 (1st)
he lacks a gear. He took to jumping fences very well at home and we hoped that just might give him a little bit extra. He stays three miles really well and likes goodish ground. We'll kick on until the winter comes in I suppose. We'll see where we go. I'd say he will probably be a little bit better at this than he was over hurdles. He just lacked that gear.

After race at Leopardstown Sun, 3rd Mar, 2019 (1st)
Just in the last 20 yards the other horse seemed to find a gear and I thought we were beat,. He jumped brilliant the whole way. In his bumpers he never used to travel but he travelled great today and the jump at the last won it. He worked brilliant the other day and he never does that. He wants three miles. We’ll see what the handicapper does and he’s a novice until later in the year so he can run in long distance novice races over the summer.

After race at Sligo Sun, 6th May, 2018 (1st)
the further he went he seemed to get more comfortable. They just had him on his head for the first mile. It was all new to him, and the lively ground too, but as the race went on he just got better and better.
