As a half-sister to a ten time winner Sapphire Lady has a bit to live up to. The start she made though could hardly have been any better as she completed a double for the Willie Mullins yard in the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares INH Flat Race at Ballinrobe. Mon 29th May
After race at Punchestown Sat, 29th May, 2021 (1st) 
That was a nice performance off a lay-off on that slow ground. She jumps well and hopefully she can build more on that. She’d have no problem going into handicaps the way she jumped there. The ground is a bit dead because it’s drying but I don’t think it’s as deep as we were expecting it to be. It’s lovely jumping ground — you’d run a winter horse on it.

She was unlucky the last day as if she had helped David (Mullins) out a bit at the last she would have won but I'm the lucky one who got to reap the rewards today. She'll make a nice summer novice and is versatile trip-wise. She'll jump a fence in time but we'll win hurdles first.
