After race at Roscommon Mon, 23rd May, 2022 (1st)
I’m from Holland and not from a horse racing background. I moved over here when I was young. I was in college but my course got changed and my sister was working in Gavin Cromwell’s yard so I went in for a few weekends and I was advised to take out a licence as I’m light. I just did it for a bit of fun and rode out in John’s a few evenings and decided to give it a go. I’m delighted for the owners and Kyanna. It’s obviously her first winner and she’s been working for me the last year. It’s tough to get people going in this game so hopefully that might get her started. She can ride and just needs the experience. The horse was got cheap in a claimer. He was drawn on the wrong side the last day in the Curragh and I thought he was a big price today but didn’t think he was going to win like that.

After race at Dundalk Sun, 18th Apr, 2021 (1st)
They went no gallop and he was in the right spot at the right time,. He'll probably stay a mile, he has three races won now so his owner will be very happy. He was trying to sell him but there was no-one to buy him but he has won three for him now so it's all good. We'll keep tipping away with him.

After race at Dundalk Fri, 29th Jan, 2021 (1st)
He blew up the last night and just needed the run,. He was in with a nice weight there. I was just worried about the two maiden winners but it worked out well. I'm delighted for the man (Seamus McGrath) that owns him. He works for Croome House Stud and has a few horses for an interest. He's after winning two races for him so he's delighted. He maybe ran around a bit the last night so that's why we put the visors on to help concentrate him a bit more. Being gelded has also helped him. He's in here Monday but I don't think he'll run. He could as he's a hardy lad but it's a 0-65 handicap and he'd have top weight. He's only a small horse so I might wait.

After race at Cork Wed, 16th Sep, 2020 (1st)
He needs quick ground and seven furlongs and got caught for pace in the middle of the race today but it is great to win one. He is in a Claimer at Fairyhouse on Monday and might run. His owner Seamus McGrath is a really nice man who works in Croom House Stud and had him with Mickey Cleere for the breeze-ups but he couldn't get him into a breeze-up so Mickey told him to send him to me. Seamus is a pleasure of an owner to have and understands the game.
