After race at Navan Sat, 5th Mar, 2022 (1st)
That's great, I thought the ground would be too dead for him. I fancied him from the entry stage. I thought he ran fine in the claimer and thought he had a bit more spark than a few of the horses that were fancied in the race and a lovely weight. Gavin got a fall on Thursday, he rode out this morning but didn't pass the doctor here. Mike won on him before so it was great that he was able to ride him and claim the 5lb as well. He's a great old horse, I was hoping he'd run well here and go back to the north for the race he won last year, in three weeks time. We'll see if we go back, we're only taking it day to day with him. He's hilarious, we worked a few young horses with him about ten days ago and I went back into the car sick as he was after beating them all. It just goes to show he still has an engine. That was great because he definitely wouldn't like that ground, there was a time he wouldn't have gone on it at all. It was a great bonus.

After race at Sligo Tue, 17th Aug, 2021 (1st)
he ran great in Galway where he got into a bit of trouble going to the second last but, at this stage, you don’t know when he’s going to turn up or not. He hasn’t won as many races as some other horses, but he’s been in the frame over forty times which is incredible. His enthusiasm is great. He had his two ears pricked today and Gavin said he got a bit keen with him at one stage. It’s great for Gavin as well. He’s been unlucky to get so many falls over the last year or so and he’ll get his turn. He’s a very, very good rider and just needs a little bit of luck.

that was worth waiting for although I'm not sure he deserved to win a Leopardstown novice chase! But it was great. He was a horse that we kept going for Gavin (Brouder, winning jockey) to get him experience and it seems to be working out for both of them. Gavin is improving away with him. I thought when I saw the conditions for 109 or less there would be six runners and he'd be the best horse in the race but of course in Ireland it's that competitive. He's 109 over both hurdles and fences so couldn't really be better in. It's great that it's worked out. I have him qualified for the final of a veterans chase for conditional riders in Newbury in three weeks. That's where he'll go now, it's a big pot and it'll suit the jockey and the horse.

After race at Dundalk Wed, 18th May, 2016 (1st)
He made up a lot of ground. Pat said he was very keen. We were hoping the two miles would bring out the best in him,. We fancied him for a hurdle in Liverpool but it rained and the ground got heavy on him. There is a handicap hurdle on June 1st at Punchestown that will suit him and it's a decent prize. We'll look forward to the summer with him and he might win another little one along the way.

He seems to be improving and hurdles seems to have improved him. We might chance him back in a flat race but he will have a little break now.

After race at Tramore Fri, 14th Aug, 2015 (1st)
I didn't think he should have been as big a price (joint outsider of five at 7/1) as he was; he did win a maiden hurdle and he got in a lot of trouble in Kilbeggan with fallers in front of him but no one seemed to pick up on that.
